There is something so beautiful about the Christmas season and everyone, whether grown or child can feel the excitement in the air at this time of year. We are busy with shopping and getting ready for family and loved ones to visit, The beauty of the decorated Christmas trees and the sparkle in the children's eyes are enough to make this time of year wonderful, but as Christians we celebrate the birth of the greatest gift of all, the Lord Jesus Christ, and his arrival bringing hope, peace, and joy to all mankind. What a celebration that must have been as the Angels above sang out!
That night there were shepherds staying in the fieldsnearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord's glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. "Don't be afraid!" he said. "I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior, yes, the Messiah, the Lord, has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger."
Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others, the armies of heaven, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased." Luke 2 : 8-14 NLT
Wow! What good news the birth of Jesus brought and what rejoicing the angels ushered His arrival with! We also, rejoice in the joy of our salvation as we celebrate Jesus's birthday. We gather with our lovd ones with joy and celebration, thanking God for loving us all so much. it was the Father God's love for us that compelled His heart to give to us the greatest gift of all in His Son Jesus Christ. What a beautiful time of joy, thankfulness, and even rededication to the Lord as we rejoice with full hearts.
As if there would be anything else needed to make this season more wonderful than it already is, and the Lord indeed had something in mind. The aligning of the Festival of lights which is Hanukkah and Christmas! Yes, he had something so special in mind for the ushering in of His heavenly plan. We are embarking on the season of His government plan being established, and God is announcing it's arrival loud and clear with a very special alignment of times.
All through the month of December from the 1st until the 29th the Hebrew calendar will be perfectly aligned with our calendar, the Gregorian calendar. Not only that but Hanukkah begins on Christmas Eve too!! This hasn't happened since 1978 and won't happen again until 2027. What is God saying through this alignment?
First the Lord spoke to me about a season of coming into our true identity, becasue we are neither Jew or Gentile but through Christ have been made into a new creation, a new man. Our Jewish heritage hold so many mysteries about who we are and what is ours. Knowing this heritage aligns us to walk in the blessings of our Father of faith Abraham. I believe that God is announcing the greatest wealth transfer that is coming upon the Church, His Royal Bride. Can you hear the sound of an abundance of rain? God has a plan of justic for every injustice, every place of sacrifice, every seed you sowed in tears, and everything you stood believeing for. Harvest time eventually comes! Could this be announcing it's arrival!! YES!!
Here are some scriptures the Lord has put on my heart for opening your heart to receive this new season of alignment that is coming quickly.
The time will come, "says the Lord, "when the grain and grapes will grow faster than they are harvested. Then the terrace vineyards on the hills of Israel will drip with sweet wine! I will bring my exiled people of Israel back from distant lands, and they will rebuild their ruined cities and live in them again. They will plant vineyards and gardens; they will eat their crops and drink their wine. I will firmly plant them there in their own land. They will never again be uprooted from the land I have given them," says the Lord your God. Amos 9:13-15 NLT
Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith. Gal. 3: 14
So how can we celebrate these joyous times and enter into this special season the Lord has purposed for us? Do something you normally wouldn't do! Light a menorah on Christmas Eve, share the miraculous stories of both our Savior's birth and the Maccabees. These are some things the Lord has put on my heart to do with my friends and loved ones. This is a season unlike any before, so be sure and celebrate that. The year following this announcement will be unprecdented! That is the word that the Lord gave me for 2017! A banner year and one that will be UNPRECEDENTED, but more about that next time as we celebrate the new year next month! And a sneak peek into our long awaited news concerning our published book coming soon!!
I want to hear your thoughts about this special season. How has God been showing you or speaking to you about the time we are in and even coming into? Throughout this month be looking forward to the many more confirmations to the season that is upon us. A season of alignment with His plans and purpose, a time of miracles, and great favor!! Rejoice and again I say REJOICE!
