I've been waiting on the time to actually share what's been on my heart and some thing's the Lord has been showing me concerning this time for the Body of Christ. What He wants me to share on this blog couldn't have been shared to early. Why you may ask? The teacher is often silent during the test. Some of you, like myself, have been going through a time of testing and intense trials on every side. This may not be for everyone but God doesn't have me share with everyone. He told me the title of this blog community is His Burning Ones. I'll describe more about that on another blog. I really want to get into what He is speaking to us right now concerning these fiery trials and situations that seem outside of ourselves. Hear me on this Beloved ones of HIs, it is supposed to be outside of what we are able to do. More about that in a few moments.
I want to start off by sharing about a recent vision the Lord gave me prior to going to a prophetic meeting. Here is what the Lord showed me. I saw a mighty hand of God come down from heaven and begin to tear up a massive nest. I did not understand at the time what the nest was or what it belonged to. I watched as the hand began to tear the nest completely apart. I then began to see a rather large group of baby eagles standing by as they watched their comfortable nest be taking apart piece by piece. I then saw the Hand of God began to gently push these baby birds to the edge of the cliff. That was quite a very scary view looking down. This next part was rather funny. I watched as several of the baby birds scrambled around not wanting to go to cliff, then others allowed the hand to push them off, and then others tried to jump on their own without the Hand of God. I watched as a large family of baby birds eventually lift up and fly.
Then as quickly as it was being seen it was over and the Holy Spirit began to interpret what the Hand of God was doing in this season. He began to show me the different groups of His children and how they are feeling and receiving what God is doing or even allowing to bring about good. Please understand I am in no way saying that everything occurring in your life is the Hand of God but rather than try to define what is happening and where it is coming from we must learn to trust God no matter what. That is what this season is teaching us. That is the very purpose of our everyday of our life.
Lets look at the first scripture and we will get back to the understanding of what God is bringing about in what may appear to be chaos.
Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true [supreme and sovereign] God, and [in the same manner know] Jesus [as the] Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3 AMP
Right there in those scriptures Jesus defined the purpose of eternal life and why He was sent. That we may know Him. Think about that for a moment. How does hearing that truth right now cause you to look at what you are going through completely different? Well lets say you are facing a difficult health situation right now. While the enemy is hoping to take you out and keep you down physically, God is going to show Himself to you as the Healer. You already know that the enemy is defeated. You have received the truth that His stripes have indeed conquered all sickness and all disease. But let me tell you there is a difference in BELIEVING something and KNOWING something. We can easily say that we believe something but until it is in our heart, we really do not believe what we are saying. Don't get upset at that. I only share from the place that the Lord has spoken to me and He is going deep and even deeper still. He wants hearts and lives consecrated to Him, trusting, and loving Him no matter what the outward is doing. He wants us to truly believe and know Him. I know that I desire that in my innermost being.
I recently stated this to someone as I was talking about how we cannot run from our struggles. I tried to do that for years. I wanted to escape the condition of my heart and life for so many years. I didn't want to get into my painful and scary places with God. But God wants all of us and so I surrendered and that was a very painful chapter of my life. What I told her was this; I'm so thankful that God didn't let me stay broken. Even though at times I wanted to, he wouldn't allow it because He had a better plan in mind. It was out of His love for me that He cornered me(or that's what it felt like at times) and made me deal with all the mess. It was either deal with the hard stuff or for me I would have eventually taken my life. I know that may sound too crazy to you but that's where I was when I started this journey to knowing Him. I put my husband and family through some very painful chapters and though I cannot go back and change that, what I can do is give them my very best today and that's what I'm doing. You see when I thought I was cursed I was really blessed. What I interpreted as unfair was really the grace of God choosing me. Everything changed for me when my perspective changed. I then could see the love of God reaching out to me to make me whole. To give me in everyway a life truly worth living. What an amazing, glorious, and incomprehensible God we truly have!
That brings me back to the vision of the nest. If we have been doing the same thing day after day and dealing with the same cycles of life moment by moment then the time has come and God is bringing about a new thing and a new day. He is forcing us out of our current way of living. This gently forcing will move us into new heights and even greater things. What we need is a change of perspective and I believe by the end of this blog that is what will emerge.
The groups of baby birds and what they each represented in the vision. The baby eagles that were running around and not wanting to go anywhere near the cliff are those who have ran from making the decision to surrender. You want things your way and you are not doing what the Lord has asked you to do. The nest of comfortable, passive, and cozy will be no more. I know how hard this can be, but in the end surrender is the most beautiful thing. Get ready for your heart to be captured by the loving and gracious Father. He has been very patient with you but it is time. It's time to walk with Him, for Him and know what your purpose in being here is truly about. Don't run from Him or your problems but run to Him. Hear Him now on this or the nest and its destruction will be even more painful than what you are currently facing.
The second group were those who were hesitant with the cliff but allowed the Hand of God to guide them to the cliff. They seemed uncertain at what was next but not reluctant. They would indeed allow the Father to have His way and will learn to fly with Him at His timing and in His purpose. It was a beautiful thing to see them jump and flap their wings and learn to fly. I got a sense of pleasure from the Father at the sight of His children learning to be who they were meant to be. You are not meant to stay down on the ground, confined by limits or impossibilities. You were made for soaring. That will bring us to our next scripture if you find yourself in this group of baby birds in this season.
And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus Ephesians 2:6 AMP
How can we stay confined and limited, less than what Jesus died for us to have, or allow others to define us when He has put us way up there with Him? Do you see it! We are learning to fly because we must become who we truly are! We are already there in the heavenly places. We are right now already soaring with Him!!! Now our lives must be seen for who we are, the Sons and daughters in the sky! No, but really get this into your heart right now. You are seated with Christ far above ANYTHING that would try to pull you down or limit your life in any way. Listen to this truth in the passion translation, I just love it!
He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ASCENDED with Him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!
Oh my! I don't know about you but I can feel that so much that I want to run around in my kitchen right now! We are learning to fly because that's where we belong. We belong there in Christ. That is the fixed and permanent position we have attained through the shed blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. I really wanted to get into the next group but the Lord is saying next time. remember timing is everything and I listen very closely to His instruction.
Get ready to fly like you never thought you could! The long awaited answers to your hearts cry are here now and God is giving you a new perspective right now and here it is. I've been meditating so much on this verse and the Lord has confirmed it continually to me. I believe from this day that He will do the same for all of you. Your new perspective is this, no matter what it appears to be or even feels like. I want to give the closing scripture in AMP and TPT
but thanks be to God, who ALWAYS leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him. 2 Cor. 2;14 AMP
God ALWAYS makes His grace visible in Christ, who includes us as partners of His endless triumph. Through our yielded lives he spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go. 2 Cor. 2:14 TPT
The emphasis on always because that is what we are all about to see in the places we are currently facing right now. So just attach an always triumphant victory at the end of what season or situation you are in right now. I may be facing health battles, financials struggles, chaos in my family, weariness, addiction, and chaos but what's coming next is a triumphant victory in Christ Jesus! Now that is something to praise, thank, and rejoice with Him in!!! And that is a powerful new perspective for us to have and keep in Him!
